POSTHUMOUS ALBUM
90% finished at the time of David Longdon's tragic and untimely death in November 2021, "Door One" is the posthumous album from the multi-award winning singer, songwriter, producer and voice of Big Big Train. Completed by a working party of musicians close to the multi-instrumentalist and spear-headed by co-producer/engineer Patrick Phillips (Kate Bush, Van Morrison, Goldfrapp, Ludovico Einaudi), the album was recorded using 4 core players: Jeremy Stacey (King Crimson, Noel Gallagher, The Finn Brothers), Theo Travis (Steven Wilson, Soft Machine, Gong), Steve Vantsis (Fish) and Gary Bromham (Bjork, Sheryl Crow, George Michael). The album's 8 stunning tracks chart a journey from darkness into enlightenment.
